Van Beest 2 Ton Bolt Type Chain Shackles
Van Beest Green Pin® Chain Shackles are extremely high quality, European-made shackles. These shackles are very easily identifiable in the field because of their trademarked green pin. A hot dipped galvanized finish helps protect the high tensile, quenched and tempered Grade 6 steel from corrosion.
The shackle design includes a double safety - it has both a split pin and a safety bolt to prevent accidental unscrewing.

Bolt type chain shackles are intended for long-term installation or permanent installation. The bolt style system prevents sliding loads from turning and backing the pin out of the shackle. Chain shackles generally have a higher working load limit than anchor shackles, but are ideal for straight or inline pulls only. Side and racking loads may cause the shackle to twist or bend.
