Type 4 twisted eye & eye nylon lifting slings have eyes on each end like a type 3 sling, but the loops have a twisted design, which creates a right angle to the body of the sling. This twist allows the sling to fit more snug against crane hooks. While this twisted eye sling works well with a basket hitch and vertical hitch, it's most suitable for use with choker hitches. All of our nylon web slings are made to industry standards in a heavy-duty, 9,800 lbs. per inch industrial grade webbing. Every sling strap has a leather tag sewn in that contains the working load limits for each hitch type. Custom web lifting slings are also an option by calling our sales team.
Sling length is determined from the load-bearing point of one eye or fitting to the load-bearing point of the other eye or fitting.
